US/UK Tax Manager (Private Clients)

About the role
The Tax Consultancy is looking for a UK/US Tax Manager to lead its private‑client practice in London. You will oversee a portfolio of UK and US tax returns, provide cross‑border advisory, and manage a dedicated team of tax professionals.
Key responsibilities
- Take ownership of approximately 130 UK and 160 US individual tax returns.
- Lead client onboarding, scope work, set pricing, delegate tasks and perform final review and sign‑off of returns.
- Provide day‑to‑day advisory on UK/US tax interactions, cross‑border planning and ad‑hoc client queries.
- Manage a dual‑handling team, including training, study support, wellbeing and overall team performance.
Required profile
- Relevant tax qualification (CTA, ACA, EA) and ability to sign off both UK and US returns.
- Strong client advisory and communication skills.
- Proven management experience with a focus on knowledge sharing and team development.
- Enthusiastic, proactive and approachable attitude.

- Competitive salary range of £75,000‑£95,000 per year.
