Utilities Planner

About the role

The Utilities Planner will act as the primary contact for the operational team before works commence. You will own the planning and street‑works aspects of all projects, ensuring compliance with NRSWA and minimizing financial impact.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of workstreams from receipt through to completion.
• Schedule work orders according to SLA targets while optimising travel routes.
• Identify and intervene early on noticing issues to ensure correct responses from utilities.
• Maintain accurate data entry and escalation in the works management system.
• Produce daily and weekly reports to meet service level objectives.
• Report safety issues in line with company procedures.

Required profile

• Previous experience in the utilities sector.
• Background in a planning or coordination role.
• Ability to prioritise workload, multitask and work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail.
• Logical, analytical mindset.
