UX Designer – Everyday Banking Platform (12‑Month Secondment)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced UX Designer to join our Everyday Banking Platform team in Edinburgh on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. You will shape end‑to‑end journeys for business customers, working in a hybrid environment and collaborating closely with a full design team.

Key responsibilities

• Craft cohesive, step‑by‑step user experiences using our central design system.
• Produce high‑fidelity prototypes with tools such as Sketch, InVision, Figma, Axure or Adobe XD.
• Balance business requirements with user needs by gathering research and aligning stakeholders.
• Adapt designs based on feedback from users, research and usability testing.
• Navigate technical constraints across platforms while guiding the best possible experience.
• Champion inclusive and accessible design for a diverse customer base.

Required profile

• Demonstrable experience in User Experience or Interaction Design.
• Strong background as an Interaction Designer, UX Designer or Visual Designer.
• Proven ability to take full ownership of design projects and present work confidently to stakeholders.
• Excellent prototyping and layout skills, with clear communication to development teams.
• Comfortable working with existing design systems.
