Van Driver – Full‑time Logistics Role

About the role

Front Runner Logistics is seeking reliable van drivers for full‑time, permanent positions based in Staines‑upon‑Thames. You will join a team that handles air‑freight and specialist goods, delivering a mix of local and regional routes while enjoying guaranteed hours and a supportive work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out deliveries and collections of air freight and specialist goods for a range of customers.
• Operate on local and regional routes, returning to base each day.
• Load, stack, and secure freight safely.
• Complete and submit paperwork promptly and accurately.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules, adjusting where appropriate.
• Maintain communication with the transport office throughout the shift.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and report any defects immediately.
• Use equipment such as pump trucks or tail‑lifts safely when required.

Required profile

• Full, valid UK driving licence.
• Clean CRC check (performed before employment).
• Basic IT competence, including PDA and sat‑nav operation.
• Professional communication with customers and colleagues.
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible with working hours.
• Willingness to undertake training and appraisals.

Required skills

• Basic IT skills (PDA usage).
• Sat‑nav navigation.
