Van Driver – Multi‑Drop Delivery (Reading)

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Van Driver to join a well‑established client in Reading. The role involves operating a 3.5‑tonne vehicle on multi‑drop routes, ensuring timely and safe deliveries across the South East.

Key responsibilities

• Drive various 3.5‑tonne vans safely and efficiently on assigned routes.
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections and report any defects.
• Load, secure, and unload cargo, ensuring correct handling.
• Follow all traffic laws, company procedures, and health‑and‑safety guidelines.
• Communicate clearly with dispatch teams and customers.

Required profile

• Valid UK Category B driving licence with no more than six penalty points.
• Minimum 12 months experience driving Category B vehicles.
• Good knowledge of the UK road network and ability to read English.
• Excellent punctuality, time‑keeping and understanding of traffic regulations.

What we offer

• Guaranteed 8‑hour shifts, Monday‑Friday, with start times between 05:30‑07:00.
• Hourly rate of £12.71, paid weekly.
