Van Technician – Light Commercial Vehicle Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Van Technician to join a busy light‑commercial‑vehicle (LCV) dealership in Chelmsford. The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality servicing and repairs on a range of vans, ensuring compliance with manufacturers’ standards and maintaining the workshop’s reputation for excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine servicing and complex repairs on light commercial vehicles.
• Accurately diagnose faults using appropriate diagnostic equipment.
• Maintain detailed records of all work performed.
• Support efficient workshop operations and adhere to health‑and‑safety procedures.
• Assist with general workshop duties as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an LCV Technician or in a similar motor‑trade role.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and the capacity to manage workload under pressure.

Required skills

• Diagnostic skills on light commercial vehicles.
• Repair skills for a variety of van models.
