Vehicle Accessory Fitter

About the role

Join Halfords in Chippenham as a Vehicle Accessory Fitter, where you’ll combine your passion for cars with top‑class customer service. You’ll work in the store’s car park, fitting a wide range of accessories and helping customers keep their vehicles running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Fit and replace vehicle accessories such as bulbs, wiper blades, batteries and other parts.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks on customers’ cars.
• Deliver high‑quality service quickly and efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
• Assist and mentor fellow team members in fitting techniques.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure tools are in good condition.

Required profile

• Previous experience working with cars, either professionally or as a hobby.
• Strong enthusiasm for automotive products and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Ability to work on a rota, including weekends.
• Proactive problem‑solving mindset.
