Vehicle Electrical Installation Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Vehicle Electrical Installation Engineer to join our Leeds workshop. You will work on a variety of commercial vehicle safety and conversion projects, delivering high‑quality installations for some of the UK’s largest fleets.

Key responsibilities

• Install reverse cameras and vehicle CCTV systems.
• Fit vehicle safety equipment, visual warning devices and radar sensors.
• Fit racking systems, onboard power solutions and specialist vehicle conversions.
• Install lighting, beacons and other visual warning equipment.
• Provide on‑site support and ensure installations meet client specifications.

Required profile

• Confident engineer able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Motor‑industry experience (auto‑electrical, mechanic, technician, body‑repair or coachbuilding) – transferable skills are welcomed.
• Full UK driving licence is advantageous but not essential.
• Willingness to undergo full in‑house training on all installation products.
