Vehicle Maintenance Trainer (MoD) – Off‑Tools Role

About the role

This position offers an experienced vehicle mechanic the chance to move off the workshop floor and into a teaching environment, delivering technical training for the UK Ministry of Defence. You will work with a historic training provider, helping shape the next generation of vehicle technicians.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver daily technical training on vehicle maintenance, both online and in a workshop setting.
• Develop and update course content, integrating new technologies and industry standards.
• Assess trainee performance and contribute to curriculum enhancement.
• Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment.

Required profile

• Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician/Mechanic or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years hands‑on experience on vehicle tools.
• Desire to transition to an off‑tools instructional role.
• Willingness to undergo teaching qualification and further training.
