Vehicle Mechanic Trainer for MoD (Hybrid)

About the role

Join a leading defence and engineering training provider as a Vehicle Mechanic Trainer. You will move from hands‑on work to delivering technical vehicle maintenance training for the UK MoD, both online and in a workshop environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver technical vehicle maintenance training to apprentices and trainees.
• Develop and update course content, incorporating new technologies.
• Adhere to curriculum guidelines and ensure a secure training setting.
• Assess trainee performance and contribute to course enhancement.
• Provide a blended learning experience, combining online modules with practical workshop sessions.

Required profile

• Level 3 qualified Vehicle Mechanic/Technician or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience on vehicle tools.
• Desire to transition to an off‑tools teaching role.
• Willingness to undertake a micro‑teach demonstration at interview.
