Vehicle Mechanic Trainer for UK MoD

About the role

This position is for a Level 3 qualified Vehicle Mechanic who wants to move from hands‑on work to a teaching role. You will deliver technical vehicle‑maintenance training for a leading defence and engineering provider to the UK Ministry of Defence.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver classroom and workshop‑based vehicle‑maintenance training to apprentices and trainees.
• Develop and update course content, incorporating new technologies and curriculum guidelines.
• Assess trainee performance and provide feedback.
• Maintain a safe and secure training environment, both online and in‑person.

Required profile

• Level 3 Vehicle Mechanic/Technician qualification or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience on vehicle tools and maintenance.
• Desire to transition into a teaching/instructor role.
• Willingness to undertake micro‑teaching at interview stage.
