Vehicle Technician – Automotive Service

About the role

Join the UK’s largest automotive service, maintenance and repair business as a Vehicle Technician. You will work in a busy Tonbridge centre, delivering high‑quality servicing, complex repairs and diagnostics on a wide range of vehicles.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine servicing and replacement work on light vehicles.
• Carry out complex tasks such as clutch and timing‑belt replacements.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle electrics, brake, steering and suspension systems.
• Handle advanced repairs including coolant system work, diesel injector servicing, head‑gasket replacement and electrical faults.
• Maintain accurate service records and ensure health‑and‑safety standards are met.

Required profile

• Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent experience.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than nine penalty points.
• Proven experience as a technician capable of diagnostic work on brakes, steering, suspension and engine systems.
• Ability to perform complex mechanical repairs and component replacements.
