Vehicle Technician – Automotive Service & Maintenance

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a busy main dealer in Hatfield. The role involves delivering high‑quality servicing, maintenance and repairs on a range of premium vehicles while supporting a clear progression path into supervisory positions.
Key responsibilities
- Perform servicing, maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards and timings.
- Produce accurate diagnostic reports and document all work carried out.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area.
- Communicate professionally with colleagues and customers to ensure satisfaction.
- Mentor junior technicians and begin taking on assistant‑manager duties.
Required profile
- NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum three years post‑qualification experience in a prestige dealership or similar environment.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Motivated, target‑driven and able to work independently.
Required skills
- Vehicle maintenance and repair.
- Automotive diagnostic troubleshooting.
- High‑voltage EV/Hybrid system knowledge (preferred).
