Vehicle Technician – Full-time in Portbury

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our busy workshop in Portbury. Working Monday to Friday, you will support a professional team delivering high‑quality vehicle preparation, maintenance and repair for a leading vehicle remarketing business.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing and maintenance on a variety of vehicles.
• Fit and replace tyres, perform road tests, ramp tests and vehicle inspections.
• Diagnose faults and execute repairs following manufacturer standards.
• Perform electrical diagnostics and complete warranty repairs.
• Document all work accurately and support general workshop activities.
• Provide guidance to junior technicians when required.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic or similar.
• City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent).
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding abilities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
