Vehicle Technician – Full‑time Automotive Role

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join a reputable car dealership in Croydon. The role involves servicing and repairing Vauxhall cars and vans in a modern, manufacturer‑approved workshop.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and determine repair requirements on Vauxhall vehicles and vans.
• Perform servicing and maintenance in line with Vauxhall manufacturer guidelines.
• Repair or replace defective components such as injectors, seals and other critical parts.
• Ensure all vehicles are roadworthy and meet safety and performance standards.
• Provide accurate repair time estimates and produce detailed service reports.
• Collaborate with the workshop team under the guidance of the Workshop Manager.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent experience.
• Full UK driving licence; MOT Tester licence advantageous but not essential.
• Proven experience working on Vauxhall vehicles with strong diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently on a range of mechanical tasks.
• Proactive attitude and commitment to high‑quality workmanship.

What we offer

• Basic salary up to £45,000 per year, dependent on qualifications and experience.
