Vehicle Technician – Full‑time

About the role

Join a thriving, busy dealership in Bolton that works with both new and used modern‑day vehicles. This full‑time, permanent position offers comprehensive dealer training on hybrid and electric models, and a supportive team environment.

Key responsibilities

• Service and repair a wide range of vehicles.
• Diagnose faults quickly and accurately using up‑to‑date diagnostic equipment.
• Perform timing belt and timing chain work.
• Carry out mechanical jobs such as brake, exhaust and suspension repairs.
• Maintain thorough records of work and test results.
• Deliver clear communication and outstanding customer service.
• Keep the workspace tidy, safe and productive.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance.
• Availability to work Monday‑Friday with occasional Saturday mornings.

Required skills

• Vehicle diagnostics using specialist equipment.
• Timing belt and chain servicing.
• Brake repair.
• Exhaust system repair.
• Suspension repair.

What we offer

• Basic salary of £32,000‑£36,000 depending on experience.
• High bonuses bringing OTE to £45,000‑£50,000.
