Vehicle Technician – Full‑time, £30‑40k, Leeds

About the role

We are partnering with a respected independent automotive retailer in Leeds that offers a stable, full‑time permanent position for a Vehicle Technician. The role provides a supportive environment, modern workshop facilities and the chance to work on a wide range of premium and mainstream vehicle brands.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out routine vehicle servicing and maintenance tasks.
• Perform pre‑delivery inspections (PDIs) on new and used vehicles.
• Replace cambelts, clutches, brakes, steering and suspension components.
• Diagnose faults using up‑to‑date diagnostic equipment and execute effective repairs.
• Ensure all work complies with manufacturer safety standards and document jobs accurately.
• Communicate clearly with customers and colleagues about work performed.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or in a similar automotive role.
• Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
