Vehicle Technician – Hybrid Specialist

About the role

Our client, a busy main dealership, is looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician. The role includes manufacturer‑backed training and a clear progression path to Master Technician, with a focus on hybrid technology.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex vehicle faults.
• Provide technical expertise and support to workshop colleagues.
• Carry out complex repairs, especially on hybrid equipment.
• Collaborate closely with the Workshop Controller to ensure efficient workflow.

Required profile

• Fully qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician in a main dealer or independent workshop.
• Strong background in diagnostic repair and methodical problem‑solving.
• MOT licence preferred but not essential.

Required skills

• Vehicle diagnostics and fault identification.
• Hybrid vehicle systems knowledge.
• Complex repair techniques.
