Vehicle Technician

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a well‑established independent garage in Reading. The garage holds authorised repairer status and prides itself on delivering first‑class service and quality repairs.
Key responsibilities
- Perform scheduled servicing and routine maintenance on a variety of vehicles.
- Diagnose faults using modern diagnostic equipment and carry out appropriate repairs.
- Conduct MOT tests where required and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organised workshop, adhering to health and safety procedures.
Required profile
- Fully qualified Vehicle Technician with a Level 3 NVQ/City & Guilds qualification.
- Own set of professional tools.
- Valid full UK driving licence.
- Experience in vehicle diagnostics; MOT licence for class 4 and 7 is advantageous but not essential.
