Vehicle Technician

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time Vehicle Technician to join a well‑established family‑run automotive business in the Henfield area. The role is permanent, Monday‑Friday 08:00‑18:00 with one Saturday shift (09:00‑13:00) every three weeks. A full UK driving licence and your own vehicle are required due to the rural location.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and rectify engine and electrical faults independently.
• Carry out repairs, including replacement and programming of specific modules/ECUs.
• Perform general servicing and maintenance such as brakes, tyres and shock absorbers.
• Utilise diagnostic tools including oscilloscopes, Autologic and Bosch equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe and modern workshop environment.

Required profile

• IMI Level 3 or 4 (or equivalent) with strong diagnostic capability.
• Interest in hybrid and electric vehicle technologies.
• Ability to work effectively in small teams supported by admin and IT resources.

• MOT licence (advantageous)
