Vehicle Technician

About the role
We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join an independent garage in Hythe. The role involves working on a wide variety of makes, using modern diagnostic equipment, and delivering high‑quality service to our customers.
Key responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic tests with the latest tools and technologies.
- Carry out routine servicing and complex repairs on all vehicle makes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical faults.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment.
Required profile
- Valid driving licence.
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in automotive engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician or mechanic in a workshop setting.
Required skills
- Vehicle diagnostics.
- Mechanical repairs.
- Electrical fault troubleshooting.
- Routine servicing procedures.
What we offer
- Competitive salary up to £50,000 per year.
- Full‑time permanent contract.
- Monday‑Friday 8:00‑17:00, occasional Saturday shifts.
