Vehicle Technician

About the role

Our client, a busy main dealership in Truro, is looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their workshop team. The role offers manufacturer‑backed training, a clear progression path to Master Technician, and the chance to work with specialist hybrid equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex vehicle faults.
• Provide technical expertise and support to colleagues in the workshop.
• Carry out complex repairs and work closely with the Workshop Controller.
• Maintain high standards of safety and quality on 8‑hour shifts.

Required profile

• Fully qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician in a main dealer or independent workshop.
• Strong experience in diagnostic repair and methodical problem‑solving.
• Possession of an MOT licence is preferred but not essential.
