Vehicle Technician – Level 3 Qualified

About the role

We are sourcing a highly skilled Vehicle Technician for a prominent dealership in Birmingham, West Midlands. The client, one of the largest privately‑owned motor retailer groups in the UK, seeks a Level 3 qualified technician to join their team.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine vehicle servicing and maintenance.
• Inspect vehicle components for wear and tear and document findings.
• Test and diagnose faulty parts, resolving faults efficiently.
• Support the preparation and maintenance of new, used, and loan vehicles.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship in a busy environment.
• Keep comprehensive records of all services and repairs.
• Adhere to health and safety standards at all times.

Required profile

• Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent.
• 1–2 years practical experience as a Vehicle Technician (ideally).
• Valid UK driving licence with minimal points.
• Strong technical knowledge and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to produce high‑quality work within deadlines.
• Committed team player with a professional attitude.
