Vehicle Technician – Main Dealer Hastings

About the role

Command Recruitment is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician for a well‑established main dealer group in Hastings. The role involves servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repair work to manufacturer standards within a professional workshop environment.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, repairs and maintenance across a range of vehicles.
• Diagnose faults using the latest manufacturer diagnostic equipment.
• Perform mechanical repairs efficiently and accurately.
• Ensure all work meets manufacturer and company standards.
• Maintain high levels of workmanship and attention to detail.
• Collaborate with a busy workshop team.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a dealership, independent garage or similar automotive environment.
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic abilities.
• Ability to work to high standards while meeting deadlines.
• Proactive approach with strong attention to detail.
• Relevant automotive qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferred).

What we offer

• Basic salary £33,500‑£36,500 per year, plus circa £4,000 bonus.
• Permanent contract.
• Monday‑Friday 8:00‑17:00, with one Saturday in three (8:30‑12:30).
