Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester – Full‑time in Preston

About the role

Our client, a reputable main dealer group in Preston, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician and MOT Tester to join their workshop team. The role involves servicing, repairing and conducting MOT tests on a range of vehicles while maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship.

Key responsibilities

• Service and repair vehicles, including full diagnostics.
• Carry out MOT tests alongside standard servicing duties.
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed.
• Communicate progress and findings to supervisors.
• Adhere to manufacturer procedures and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a vehicle technician or MOT tester.
• NVQ Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Technology (or equivalent City & Guilds qualification).
• Full UK driving licence.
• Enthusiastic attitude with a commitment to high‑quality workmanship.
