Vehicle Technician Tutor/Trainer – Full Training Provided

About the role

We are seeking a Vehicle Technician Tutor/Trainer to deliver training on tracked and road vehicles for military personnel and colleagues. The role offers full training and support to achieve a Level 4 Teaching Qualification, with no prior teaching experience required.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver classroom and practical training on light and heavy vehicles, ensuring high‑quality instruction.
• Coach, motivate and assess learners throughout their training programmes.
• Prepare lesson plans, training materials and keep content up‑to‑date with new technology.
• Conduct practical vehicle testing, invigilate examinations and record learner progress.
• Maintain training equipment and ensure health & safety compliance on site.

Required profile

• Demonstrable workshop experience with diagnostic skills on light or heavy vehicles.
• Previous employment as a Vehicle Technician.
• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance/Mechanics or equivalent.
• Willingness to undergo DBS/security clearance.
