Vendor Risk Management Senior Analyst

About the role

The Vendor Risk Management Senior Analyst joins Latham & Watkins' Global Procurement team, based in London or Manchester. You will lead the assessment, monitoring, and mitigation of risks linked to vendor relationships, performing due‑diligence on new and existing vendors to develop risk profiles.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee vendor performance and compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements, preparing detailed reports and dashboards for senior management.
• Assist in developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies, collaborating with vendors and internal teams.
• Evaluate vendor performance metrics to assess service quality, cost‑effectiveness, and compliance, providing strategic recommendations.
• Coordinate and lead vendor audits, document findings, and ensure follow‑up on corrective actions.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of vendor risk management policies and procedures, aligning with best practices and regulations.

Required profile

• Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
• Strong leadership in a team environment and a customer‑service focus.
• Excellent written and oral communication, capable of presenting to senior management.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Professional certification or extended education in a related field.
• Experience in vendor risk management, compliance, or a related role.
• Relevant experience at a professional services firm or Fortune 500 company.
