Vertex Tax Systems Analyst – London (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Vertex Tax Systems Analyst to join our client’s IT team in London. The role will focus on configuring, maintaining and optimizing Vertex tax solutions and their integration with ERP platforms, working closely with Tax, Finance and IT stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and manage Vertex O‑Series, VAT Compliance and Indirect Tax Returns modules.
• Maintain ERP tax configuration, ensuring accurate tax calculation and reporting.
• Implement and support Vertex Accelerator for ERP to streamline tax processes.
• Collaborate with finance and tax teams to resolve tax‑related issues and improve system performance.
• Provide technical guidance on billing systems, e‑invoicing solutions and Tax Reporting Cloud Service (TRCS).
• Document configurations, changes and best practices for ongoing compliance.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience with Vertex tax systems.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with cross‑functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
