Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a forward‑looking institutional strategy in partnership with the Board and senior leadership.
• Drive growth across teaching, research, digital innovation, health, education, apprenticeships and international partnerships.
• Represent the university to external stakeholders, including government, industry, alumni and community partners.
• Oversee operational performance, financial sustainability and governance compliance.
• Foster an inclusive culture that enhances student experience, employability and social mobility.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in higher education or a comparable sector.
