Vice President, Capital Markets & Loan Portfolio Mitigation

About the role

Citi is seeking a Vice President to join its Treasury Capital Markets and Loan Portfolio Mitigation (CM&LPM) team. You will play a pivotal role in developing and executing credit risk mitigation solutions across the firm’s businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Structure, replenish and maintain synthetic securitisation programmes.
• Expand the synthetic securitisation franchise across multiple Citi businesses and new asset classes.
• Support external investor relationships and marketing initiatives in partnership with sales management.
• Drive technology enhancements for user interfaces supporting the securitisation programme.
• Prepare regular and ad‑hoc presentations of mitigation strategies for senior management.
• Monitor market risk and P&L of the CM&LPM hedge book.
• Research and develop new structured credit solutions in collaboration with other Citi units.
• Participate in ad‑hoc CM&LPM initiatives related to the overall credit portfolio.
• Work closely with Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, and Finance to secure approvals and ensure robust governance.
• Promote a culture of responsible finance, strong governance, expense discipline and ethical conduct.

Required profile

• Proven experience in credit structuring and/or portfolio management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strategic thinking ability applied to detailed tasks.
