Vice President – Capital Markets & Loan Portfolio Mitigation

About the role

This senior position sits within Citi’s Treasury Capital Markets and Loan Portfolio Mitigation (CM&LPM) team. You will lead the development and execution of synthetic securitisation solutions that help manage credit risk across the firm’s balance sheet.

Key responsibilities

• Structure, replenish and maintain the synthetic securitisation programme.
• Expand the programme across multiple Citi businesses and introduce new asset classes.
• Support external investor relationships and marketing initiatives in partnership with sales management.
• Drive technology enhancements for user interfaces supporting the securitisation workflow.
• Prepare regular and ad‑hoc presentations of mitigation strategies for senior management.
• Monitor market risk and P&L of the CM&LPM hedge book.
• Research and develop new structured credit solutions in collaboration with other Citi units.
• Partner with Legal, Compliance, Credit Risk, Audit, Finance and other control functions to secure approvals and ensure robust governance.
• Promote a culture of responsible finance, strong governance, expense discipline and ethical conduct.

Required profile

• Proven experience in credit structuring or portfolio management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strategic thinking ability applied to detailed tasks.
