About the role

DB Cargo UK’s National Rail Communication Centre (NRCC) is looking for a Video Creator to produce real‑time video updates on railway disruptions. You will work from the Doncaster head office, delivering clear on‑camera information to help passengers plan their journeys.

Key responsibilities

• Produce and present videos covering unplanned railway disruptions.
• Manage the full video lifecycle – pre‑production, filming, editing and post‑production – ensuring brand consistency.
• Coordinate with external providers for British Sign Language (BSL) translations.
• Upload finished videos to the appropriate public platforms promptly.
• Work flexible 12‑hour shift patterns as part of a 24/7 operation.

Required profile

• Confidence speaking directly to the camera with clear, concise delivery.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexibility to work varied shift patterns, including nights and weekends.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud video tools.
• Experience using Open Broadcaster Software (OBS) or similar live‑streaming software.

What we offer

• Starting salary of £26,832 per year plus a £1,936 shift allowance.
• Full‑time permanent contract.
