VNA Driver – Temporary (Shift Work)

About the role

We are recruiting experienced VNA Drivers for a leading logistics and distribution company that specialises in the storage and distribution of pharmaceutical products. The role is based in a modern, fast‑paced distribution centre in Birmingham where you will ensure that stock is stored, picked and replenished accurately while upholding the highest safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) truck safely and efficiently within the warehouse.
• Put away inbound stock to designated locations.
• Replenish picking locations to maintain operational efficiency.
• Pick customer orders accurately using RF scanners and warehouse systems.
• Load and unload vehicles as required.
• Carry out stock movements, inventory checks and cycle counts.
• Handle products in line with pharmaceutical quality standards.
• Report damaged stock, shortages or discrepancies promptly.

Required profile

• Valid and accredited VNA licence (RTITB, ITSSAR or equivalent).
• Previous experience operating a VNA truck in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Experience in a fast‑paced logistics operation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet productivity and quality targets.
• Good communication skills.
• Flexibility to work rotating morning, afternoon and night shifts.

Required skills

• VNA licence (RTITB, ITSSAR or equivalent).
• Operation of VNA trucks.
• Use of RF scanners.
• Warehouse management system operation.

What we offer

• Shift patterns: 06:00‑14:00, 15:00‑23:00, 22:00‑06:00.
• Pay rate £13.54‑£18.00 per hour, depending on shift.
