About the role

This volunteer position supports a women’s empowerment social enterprise in Uganda. You will work closely with the Founder and Managing Director to strengthen budgeting, cash‑flow forecasting and financial systems as the organisation expands its international sales.

Key responsibilities

Review and improve internal finance processes and controls.
Support effective use of Zoho Books and maintain the chart of accounts.
Develop and enhance budgeting and cash‑flow forecasting tools.
Create simple management reporting dashboards.
Assist in audit preparation and documentation.

Required profile

Hands‑on accountant comfortable working with a small, local team.
Experience in nonprofit or social‑enterprise finance is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and ability to translate financial data into clear reports.
