About the role
Join the Slug & Lettuce team in Derby as a Waiter or Waitress. No prior experience is required – we will train you to deliver high‑quality service in a vibrant, inclusive environment.
Key responsibilities
- Welcome and engage every guest, creating a friendly first impression.
- Take orders, make menu and drink recommendations, and serve food and beverages promptly.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well‑presented dining area for guests and team members.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow.
Required profile
- Enthusiastic attitude with a genuine desire to provide excellent guest experiences.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Strong communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset.
