Waking Night Children's Support Worker

About the role

We are iMap - Individuals Making Autism Positive - an established provider of support and education for people with autism. We are seeking a compassionate Waking Night Children's Support Worker to join our team in Winsford. In this part-time night-shift role you will help children and young people with autism achieve a safe, restful night and support their personal care needs.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the team in implementing positive behaviour plans and daily routines for young people.
• Apply strategies that promote healthy sleep and wake patterns.
• Support personal care needs of children during night hours.
• Provide direct supervision and assistance throughout the night as required.

Required profile

• Compassionate, understanding and resilient.
• Ability to work under pressure and solve problems dynamically.
• Strong verbal communication and listening skills.
• Effective time-management and teamwork orientation.

Required skills

• Experience with positive behaviour support strategies.
• Knowledge of sleep hygiene techniques for children with autism.
