Waking Night Support Worker

About the role

We are seeking a Waking Night Support Worker to join our specialist Supported Living service at Bromley Croft in Mansfield Woodhouse. You will provide 24/7 support during night shifts, helping residents with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs to live independently and safely.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate care and supervision throughout the night, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of residents.
• Assist residents with personal care, medication administration and use of assistive technology.
• Promote independence by encouraging participation in evening activities and supporting daily routines.
• Document observations and incidents accurately in line with organisational policies.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to respond to any emergencies or changes in resident needs.

Required profile

• Passion for supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism or complex needs.
• Ability to work rotational night shifts (37.5 hours per week).
• Good communication skills and respect for individual communication preferences.
• Willingness to undergo a free DBS check and complete a 3‑day online induction.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of assistive technology used in supported living environments.
• Ability to follow health and safety procedures.
