Waking Night Support Worker

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Waking Night Support Worker to provide person‑centred care for adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health challenges and complex needs. Working overnight at our supported living site in Rowde, Devizes, you will help residents maintain independence and enjoy a good quality of life.

Key responsibilities

• Encourage residents to take an active role in their community and promote independence.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, budgeting and routine planning.
• Communicate effectively using each person’s preferred method.
• Provide positive behavioural support and motivate engagement in social activities.
• Maintain accurate records and report any changes in health or circumstances to management.
• Work collaboratively as part of a team while also using your own initiative during night shifts.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic, proactive attitude with strong people skills.
• Minimum of 12 months’ right to work in the UK.
• Ability to support individuals with learning disabilities, autism, mental health and complex needs.
• Willingness to work night hours on a permanent basis.

Required skills

• No specific technical skills required; caring attitude and communication abilities are essential.
