Ward Manager - Mental Health (Eating Disorders)

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Ward Manager to lead a highly specialized multidisciplinary team providing assessment and treatment for children and adolescents facing complex eating disorders and emotional challenges.

Main Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operational management and ensure the highest quality of clinical care for young patients.
• Provide strong leadership to the nursing team, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
• Act as the clinical and operational expert, ensuring all services meet best practice standards and regulatory requirements.
• Manage complex staffing requirements, including 12-week forward planning to match patient acuity and skill mix.
• Conduct clinical audits in line with contractual obligations and company strategy to drive continuous improvement.
• Monitor performance across key pillars: People, Quality, and Finance.

Candidate Profile

• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid and active NMC registration.
• Proven experience in clinical leadership or management roles.
• A strong interest or professional experience in CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services) and eating disorders.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to write clear, professional clinical reports.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
