Warehouse Administrator

About the role

Our client, a freight forwarding company, is seeking a Warehouse Administrator to support their logistics operations from the office in Stanford-le-Hope. You will be responsible for accurate data management of stock movements and providing administrative support to the warehouse and logistics teams.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately manage data for stock movements, receipts, dispatches, and returns using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Maintain booking schedules for inbound and outbound deliveries.
• Coordinate communication with carriers, drivers, and internal teams regarding vehicle arrivals and departures.
• Generate pick lists, delivery notes, and shipping labels.
• Assist with stock control, inventory checks, and reconciliation.
• Handle purchase and sales transaction entries.
• Respond promptly to internal and external queries about stock and shipments.
• Support warehouse and logistics teams with administrative tasks and reporting.

Required profile

• Experience in logistics or supply chain administration.
• Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Good verbal and written communication abilities.
• Computer literate and able to use Warehouse Management Systems.
• Flexible, proactive team player who can prioritise and multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
