Warehouse and Logistics Co‑Ordinator

About the role

We are seeking a Warehouse and Logistics Co‑Ordinator to join our client’s team in Leatherhead on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. The role involves managing works orders, handling stock, and coordinating the dispatch and return of medical instrument loan sets using the company’s ERP system.

Key responsibilities

• Create works orders and pick stock for set building requirements.
• Process customer orders, load works orders and book finished goods into stock.
• Prepare, pack, shrink‑wrap and dispatch loan sets, instruments, implants and samples.
• Ship and track loan sets, liaising with hospitals, distributors and sales representatives.
• Maintain UK consignment stock records and perform regular cycle counts.
• Receive returned sets, inspect for functionality, missing parts and cleanliness.
• Generate delivery documentation, including packing lists, delivery notes and shipping paperwork.
• Archive completed works orders and ensure accurate documentation.
• Answer inbound calls, process sales orders through to invoicing and update delivery schedules.
• Set up new customers in the system, maintain pricing records and handle customer enquiries.
• Liaise with other departments to improve internal communication and log customer complaints.

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in stock control and documentation.
• Effective team player capable of building positive relationships across departments.
• Quick learner with strong problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with an ERP system for order and stock management.
• Experience of stock control, inventory management and order processing.
• Data entry and cycle‑counting experience.
• Counterbalance forklift licence (beneficial).
• Ability to generate delivery documentation and perform product shrink‑wrapping.
