Warehouse Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Warehouse Assistant to join our growing team in Tewkesbury on a full‑time, permanent basis. Reporting to the Warehouse Team Leader, you will support the manufacturing department by ensuring the right components and kits are available when needed.

Key responsibilities

• Pick components and kits and supply them to the manufacturing team.
• Maintain accurate stock records and update the stock control system.
• Keep inventory organised, tidy and stored in the correct locations.
• Apply 5S principles to maintain a clean and efficient workplace.
• Follow all health and safety procedures at all times.
• Provide a professional service to internal and external customers.
• Work with minimal supervision, using initiative where appropriate.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of store operations.
• Carry out any additional ad‑hoc duties as required.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a warehouse or stores environment.
• Reliable team player with a strong work ethic.
• Willingness to obtain a counterbalance or reach forklift licence if not already held.
