Warehouse Co-ordinator

About the role

We are seeking an experienced SME Co‑ordinator to support a busy warehouse operation. The role is primarily office‑based but requires regular interaction with the warehouse floor, producing reports and ensuring smooth day‑to‑day activities. It offers a temporary‑to‑permanent pathway with a £35,000 annual salary.

Key responsibilities

• Support and coordinate the daily activities of the SME team.
• Produce weekly and monthly reports, including data analysis and audit reporting.
• Respond to ad‑hoc requests from management.
• Maintain MSDS records and communicate updates.
• Manage warehouse shelf‑life checks.
• Compile and distribute cost reports.
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies through warehouse and system checks.
• Maintain SAP records and handle warehouse administration.
• Process goods receipting for direct deliveries and bulk chemical products.
• Provide holiday cover for key operational support functions.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures and promote safe working practices.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an administrative, warehouse support, or coordinator role.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, and reporting.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, OneNote).
• SAP experience is desirable (training will be provided).
• Strong organisational, analytical, and communication abilities.
• Ability to prioritise workloads, work independently, and support a wider team.
• Proactive approach with confidence to take ownership of tasks and drive operational improvements.
