Warehouse Controller

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Controller to manage the day‑to‑day operations of a busy storage facility in Stretford. You will be the central point for documentation, client liaison, and ensuring every consignment meets our strict storage standards from arrival to release.

Key responsibilities

• Administer all warehouse documentation and photograph consignments on arrival.
• Maintain computer systems with up‑to‑date information daily.
• Act as the communication link between the company, clients, and internal teams.
• Provide professional client service and handle enquiries efficiently.
• Quality‑check all consignments received and dispatched against storage standards.
• Support the Operations Team and RQM as required.
• Operate forklift trucks and crane equipment safely.
• Assist with general warehouse and road crew duties when needed.

Required profile

• Qualified Forklift Truck Operator (essential).
• Experience in a storage warehouse environment or similar logistics, warehousing, or distribution roles.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Confident communicator comfortable liaising with clients and internal teams.
• Hands‑on, flexible approach to work.

What we offer

• Salary: £30,000 per annum
• 37.5 hours per week, 5‑day work week
