Warehouse Controller

About the role

We are seeking a Warehouse Controller to join a globally recognised brand in the migration, removals and storage sector. The role is based in Manchester and involves overseeing warehouse documentation, ensuring consignments are correctly photographed and quality‑checked, and acting as the main liaison between customers and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Administer all warehouse documents and ensure consignments are photographed on arrival according to storage standards.
• Update the computer system daily and maintain accurate records.
• Serve as the primary customer liaison, handling client communications efficiently.
• Quality‑check all incoming and outgoing consignments to meet company standards.
• Assist the operational department as needed and communicate with the Operations Team.
• Operate Counter Balance forklift and crane equipment; perform warehouse and road crew duties.
• Hold key holder responsibilities, with flexible start times and time‑in‑lieu for extra hours.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a large, fast‑paced warehouse environment.
• Holder of a Counter Balance forklift licence.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Positive attitude, desire for career progression and ability to work independently.
