Warehouse & Event Technology Specialist

About the role

Riedel Communications is looking for a Warehouse & Event Technology Specialist to manage warehouse operations and support technical equipment for live events worldwide. The role combines logistics, inventory management and on‑site technical assistance for high‑profile productions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee warehouse processes including order picking, packaging, goods receipt, storage preparation and shipment coordination.
• Ensure proper packaging, handle returns and support timely deliveries to customers and project locations.
• Design, supervise and program technical solutions in line with the Managed Technology Core Workflow.
• Prepare, configure and support implementation of audio, video and IT equipment, providing troubleshooting and technical reporting.
• Maintain CRM and ERP data, monitor bookings and ensure smooth operational processes.
• Conduct inventory checks, support annual stocktaking and operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and conveyors.
• Collaborate with colleagues, customers and external partners on national and international projects.

Required profile

• Vocational training or equivalent experience in logistics, commercial operations, events or warehouse management.
• Hands‑on, proactive mindset with a strong “can‑do” attitude.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills, able to work across cultures and teams.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally for on‑site event support.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Basic knowledge of CRM/ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Technical affinity for electronics and event technology.
