Warehouse Forklift Operator – Night Shift (6pm‑2am)

About the role

We are seeking a permanent Counterbalance Forklift Operator for a global food‑packaging company in Poole. The role works the night shift from 6 pm to 2 am, Monday‑Friday, at a rate of £17.79 per hour including shift allowance.

Key responsibilities

• Unload raw materials and finished products, verify delivery notes and store items in the correct locations.
• Operate Counterbalance forklifts (essential) and, where required, Bendi (pivot) forklifts after training.
• Use RF hand‑held computers to record stock movements accurately.
• Prepare finished goods for dispatch and move materials around the site using powered pallet trucks and other handling equipment.

Required profile

• Valid Counterbalance forklift licence.
• Willingness to work the 6 pm‑2 am night shift on a permanent basis.
• Ability to follow health‑and‑safety procedures and work safely with warehouse equipment.

Required skills

• Counterbalance forklift operation.
• RF hand‑held computer usage for stock tracking.
• Basic operation of powered pallet trucks.
• Willingness to be trained on Bendi (pivot) forklifts.
