About the role
We are looking for a reliable Warehouse Loader to work night shifts at a food‑distribution centre in Bridgwater. The role involves handling chilled and frozen products, ensuring accurate receipt and dispatch, and supporting the warehouse team during the early‑morning hours.
Key responsibilities
- Accept deliveries of chilled or frozen food products.
- Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Check deliveries against paperwork and report any damage or missing items.
- Pick items from storage to fulfil customer orders.
- Pack, wrap and label goods correctly for transport.
Required profile
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience working in a warehouse environment.
- Good organisational and communication abilities.
Required skills
- Powered Pallet Truck operation.
- Forklift operation (counter‑balance) – desirable.
What we offer
- £12.85 per hour starting rate.
- Shift pattern: Monday‑Thursday, 2 am – 11 am with a 30‑minute unpaid lunch break.
- Potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
