Warehouse & Logistics Manager

About the role

The Warehouse & Logistics Manager will lead the end‑to‑end flow of goods for a fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) business in Dartford. Reporting to senior management, you will own warehouse operations, outbound and inbound logistics, inventory control and team performance, ensuring safety, quality and customer service standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking and shipping.
• Lead outbound logistics to achieve service level targets.
• Oversee inbound deliveries and coordinate with suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety and food safety regulations.
• Control stock levels and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Develop, motivate and manage operational teams.
• Monitor, analyse and improve key performance indicators.
• Support capacity planning, resource allocation and forecasting.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse and logistics functions.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing warehouse and logistics in fresh produce or food manufacturing.
• Strong leadership and people‑development skills.
• Solid understanding of health & safety and operational compliance.
• Excellent organisational, planning and problem‑solving abilities.
• Hands‑on, proactive approach with the ability to work under pressure.
