Warehouse & Logistics Manager

About the role

The Warehouse & Logistics Manager will lead all inbound and outbound warehouse activities at our client’s site in Lydney. You will be responsible for safe, efficient storage, material flow management and continuous process improvement in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee receiving, storage, picking and dispatch operations.
• Maintain inventory control and coordinate deliveries from ports.
• Optimise warehouse layout, workflows and stock control systems (SAP, BDE).
• Lead and develop warehouse staff while enforcing health and safety standards.
• Monitor KPIs, analyse data and drive performance‑enhancing initiatives.
• Collaborate with production, quality, logistics and finance teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in warehousing or logistics management.
• Export knowledge, particularly to Europe.
• Proven leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Experience with WMS, ERP or MES systems.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and resilience under pressure.
• Willingness to travel to external warehouse sites as required.
